past practice experience

2023 - 2016

At Jan Kattein Architects, led three Heritage Lottery Funded Townscape Heritage Initiative schemes and gained tremendous insight into the various planning frameworks, regulation systems and negotiation of contractual relationships whilst delivering high-quality restoration and, at the same time, undertaking private projects and competitions, including extending a modernist housing unit and a proposition for a disused barge.

At Sam Jacob Studio, led a self-build of the Adolf Loos Tomb resurrection for the Architectural Foundation at the Highgate Cemetery. Supported the team on several high-concept-driven projects. Behind each one, great attention was given to testing ideas digitally and physically, from 3D study models of window sill details and free-standing information panel prototypes for exhibition designs to refining the shape, colour and detail of the way to finding lettering and signs one to one.
